Alene who is a native Floridian, moved to Franklin by way of Steamboat Springs, Colorado in 1994. She and her husband Hil, were looking for a small town in the mountains to call home. They fell in love with Franklin and have been here ever since.

In 1996 she and Hil joined forces with three other Real Estate Brokers and opened Preferred Properties of Franklin. Alene says Real Estate sales have enabled her to meet some of the nicest people. She loves helping families to relocate or find their special vacation home in the mountains.

In her spare time, Alene plays tennis and visits with her new grandson. Her son and his wife and her daughter live nearby in Georgia.

Hil enjoys gardening, hiking, hunting and the abundant wildlife in Western Carolina! Upon entering the Real Estate profession he has specialized in land sales. He enjoys walking the property, becoming familiar with its boundaries and all the features it has to offer! He has found living in the mountains, along with the friendliness of the people in a small community, is hard to beat!

Bud Haley moved here to the mountains in 1985 after living in Lighthouse Point, FL since 1956. This year makes 34 years full time in the Real Estate business, 32 of that as a Broker. After owning and operating a large office in S. Florida for 15 years, the idea was to slow down here in Franklin. That hasn't happened.

"I guess if you enjoy helping people and love the business, slowing down isn't an option. Hunting, fishing and boating in the Bahamas take about a month a year the rest is for family and Real Estate."

Don't ever say, "It's too late to buy now, values have gone up so much." If you do you will be kicking yourself five years from now.

After vacationing in Franklin for several years, Larry and his family decided to call Franklin home in 1992. Larry has been active in the financial industry in Illinois, Florida and North Carolina for over 28 years. He has been applying that experience to the real estate field since 2001.

Larry is married to Alicia and they have one daughter (Mary). He enjoys fishing, golf, racquetball, and living in the mountains.

Originally from Philadelphia, Phil with his wife, Pam and three daughters, moved from Florida to the Franklin area in 1992. "We are here to stay!"

Phil, a graduate of Valley Forge Military Academy and a U.S. Air Force veteran, has spent the past thirty years in the real estate and home decorating businesses. He joined the Preferred Properties of Franklin team in 2005. He enjoys working with folks who call this area home and those who wish to make it home.

Real Estate is in my family. I worked in land development with my father for 10 years. I was in sales with Blackburn Realty for 3 years in Clearwater Florida. My sister Meg was involved in Real Estate in the Franklin area for 15 years. I would be happy to put my expertise to work for you.
